Skip's Restoration, LLC

Skip learned to work on antique automobiles from his father and owned his first car at 13. (Let's just call that five decades of involvement in the hobby.) A lifetime member of the AACA, he has attended the Hershey Fall Meet since 1974, and currently holds several spaces in the chocolate field. (CW 41-46). He also belongs to the VMCCA, MARC, REO, NCCA, IFRC and ACD automobile clubs.

Skip and his staff are skilled in the repair of maintenance of vintage vehicles from the early days of motoring through the muscle car years and beyond. Himself, an avid collector, has completed multiple Glidden tours and has run the "service truck" on numerous tours, providing on-the-spot repairs and towing when necessary. Even the most, shall we say, "persnickety" owners of Classics and antiques are confident enough to leave their "babies" with Skip, knowing that, as an owner himself, he treats every job like he is working on one of his own. This is the time-tested "Old School" kind of guy we can buy a car from in complete confidence.

And the Other Owner...Julia Savage

When calling, e-mailing or visiting, you will most likely be greeted by co-owner Julia Savage. Julie is no stranger to the antique auto world. Her 3 decades of involvement (from birth) include 3 Glidden tours and 2 Founders tours, on which she was awarded "Youngest Driver". Julie has spent much time working with antiques and can be seen driving dad's 1915 Apperson Jackrabbit.

Skip's Restorations LLC offers an ever-changing inventory of quality antiques and collectibles for sale. Whether it's a Nickel-Era Phaeton, a Model A sedan or a Model T Roadster...A mid 50's Hemi or a 60's muscle car, you can rest assured that each car has been thoroughly gone over by Skip and his skilled mechanic.

Skip's Restorations is located in a former Ford Dealership fully equipped to provide most antique auto servies from engine rebuilds to transmission repair to brake jobs. Complete tune-ups and maintenance to a complete restoration, Skip's can handle it all. They can even pick up your vehicle and transport it to their shop in their enclosed trailer, provide you an estimate, complete the job and deliver the car back to you.
